This Classic Radon Hull has a newly built Ridged Foam and Fiberglass cabin that sleeps 3 or even 4 in a pinch. The dual stainless steel prop Volvo Penta Drive is being pushed by a Volvo 5.7L GXi that puts out about 312 horsepower. With this power, the dual prop and the design of the hull, not only are you up on a plane at about 14 knots, but with a 24 knot cruising speed and a top speed of about 36 knots, you'll still get around 1.9 knots per gallon. This is a fishing machine. With a fish hold capable of holding 600 pounds of ice, 7 rocket launchers and 5 rod holders on the stainless steel railing, you can very capably chase any fish you choose. There are even two mounts for downriggers in case the salmon ever return. Your electronics will keep you on target and safe with 2 VHF Radios, one with Digital Selective Calling, Raytheon Radar, Navman Tracker 5100 GPS and Raymarine plotter/sounder. This Radon is a workhorse that will never let you down. And, it was built correctly. This Radon is in fantastic condition. The engine is strong and runs well. All mechanicals are in great working order. The cabin is spartan, but this is a workhorse, not a play house. There are a few dings and scrapes in the Gel coat with no issues of safety, due to the nature of this boats hull. Only cosmetic blemishes. The trailer is in good shape. It does show its age and wear. Plus, thinking ahead, when the trailer was built, there were the addition of pass throughs for straps, in case the boat needs to be lifted from the trailer. And, the hubs are protected and the trailer has stainless steel brakes.
